I’m really excited to be your child’s physical education teacher this school year. I strive to make my class great fun, while never losing sight of just how vital physical activity is to the physical development and overall health of your child. In physical education class this year, every child in grades K-2 will learn and continue to develop both fine and rough motor skills. I will be working with each child in basic activities like jumping, throwing, catching, batting and such. A child in grades 3-5 will learn and continue to refine motor skills and concepts by engaging in soccer, basketball, football, softball, volleyball, racquetball, paddleball, jump roping, dance and other activities. I hope to instill in your child an appreciation for the importance of physical activity to their overall health and happiness.

Music & Drama Teacher: Angel Felix

Welcome students and families to Music Class! My name is Ms. Angel Felix. I am privileged to be your student's teacher. I was born and raised in Las Vegas and attended CCSD schools from elementary to high school. I attended Whittier College in Whittier, California where I earned my Bachelor of Arts in English and Theater Arts. Then, many years later, I completed an elementary teaching credential from Concordia University Irvine. Before moving back to Las Vegas, I spent 17 years in the southern California area where I studied acting and performed in theater, film, and television. During the summers of 2022 and 2024, I earned levels 1 and 2 in Orff Schulwerk training for teaching elementary music. I have a pet bearded dragon named Rex who lives in Mrs. Bracy's 5th grade class. Then on the weekend, Rex comes home with me! When I am not teaching, I enjoy going hiking, taking landscape photographs, attending performing arts events, and having game and movie nights with friends. I look forward to helping our students learn and excel in their creative expression!

I'm Joseph Kennedy and I received undergraduate and graduate degrees from UNLV, both in Elementary Education. I also hold a PhD from the School of Hard Knocks. I love teaching, and I'm excited to still be doing it after 15 years! By day I teach, by night I fight crime alongside my buddy, Superman (but don't tell him I told you I know him). My hobbies include sports, outdoors activities, kung fu mud wrestling, and competitive eating (Joey who?). I look forward to a fun, challenging, and exciting year at Rundle!
