Hello, I am Ms. Jennifer Diamond. I am born and raised in Las Vegas and graduated from Eldorado High School. I am a Title I Learning Strategist here at Rundle ES. My job is to offer support to the students, families and teachers here at Rundle ES. I have worked as a Learning Strategist for the last 13 years focusing primarily on Reading and Writing. However, I personally enjoy teaching and learning all subjects and consider myself a life-long learner. I loved school as a small child and it is my hope that each student here at Rundle ES enjoys their time here.

Mrs. Lisa Larsen has been involved in education for over 10 years. She has been working at Rundle Elementary for 8 years. At Rundle, she has taught 3-5th grade. Mrs. Larsen loves to teach math and is looking forward to a great year!

Hello! I am Ms. Kelli Schirm. I was born and raised in Yorba Linda, California. I went to college at California State University Fullerton and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Arts with the purpose of becoming a teacher. In 2007, I moved out here to Las Vegas and began teaching Kindergarten and loved it. This is my 16th year here at Rundle, my 6th year as a Learning Strategist. In all of my free time, ha ha, I am typically running around with my family, tinkering on my old truck, cooking up a storm, or finding a new craft project to try out. It’s going to be a great year everyone!

I graduated from Cal State University, Northridge with a Bachelors Degree and just recently obtained my Master's in Education Degree from Touro University. Some of my favorite things are reading and spending time with my family. I enjoy watching children progress and grow during their foundational years. I look forward to working with you and your child.

My name is Ms. Teresa Sorani, and this is my 29th year of teaching, all of which have been in East Las Vegas schools. I received both my Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I am a mother to two amazing daughters. When I'm not teaching, you can find me trying to sneak away to the closest beaches. I'm happy to be a part of the Rundle family and am looking forward to an exciting school year! :)

Hello my name is Ms. Cheryl Pederson and I have the pleasure of teaching third grade at Rundle Elementary. This is my 36th year of teaching in the Clark County School District and my 6th year at Rundle Elementary. I am a Native Minnesotan farm girl from up north in snow country. I have spent my whole career teaching in the elementary schools of Clark County. When I’m not at work, I love spending time traveling, gardening, biking, reading, and spending time with my family. My favorite thing to do in the world is teach your children! :)

Hi, I am Mrs. Rebecca Barragan. I recently got married and your kiddos might have known me as Miss Espinoza! I was born in Boston but came to Las Vegas at a young age! I graduated with my BSW from UNLV and have two Master's degrees. One degree was earned in 2019 at Life Pacific University and I recently earned my MSW from UNR in 2022. This is my 6th school year at Rundle ES and I absolutely love it here! Our kiddos are amazing and bring joy to my life! As a school social worker, I am here to provide support, community resources, and referrals. My goal is to help all of my students and their families be the best they can be! This will be a great school year!

Hello! I am Ms. Yvette Lopez. I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. I moved to Las Vegas in 2020. I graduated from California State University, Northridge, with a Bachelor degree in Child Development. In 2021, I graduated with a Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California (Go TROJANS!) My goal at Rundle ES is to support students and advocate for their emotional, mental, and physical well-being. As well as, ensuring students and families have access to beneficial resources in school and society.

I have played basketball competitively since sixth grade and enjoy all sports and especially any gym activities. Hi! My name is Ms. Scapellato, but I go by Ms. S. I am a Las Vegas native and I love our Vegas heat! This is my fourth year as our school's 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC), Site Manager. I am here to help your kiddos receive the extra academic support that our program offers, before and after school during tutoring. As much as I love our tutoring program, you may often find me providing "extra support" helping out with our Enrichments like Art of Step (AOS) and Cheer. When I am not at work, I spend all my time with my eight year old yellow Labrador Retriever named Lilyah. Please feel free to email me with any inquiries regarding tutoring.
