Resource Teacher: Donald Moore
Email: [email protected]
I am Mr. Donald Moore.  I grew up in beautiful East Tennessee, home of the Vols. Go Big Orange! I was born on Mother's Day, May 10th. So, that makes me very special! I also have an amazing daughter, Brittany. I have an amazing grand dog, Hachi.  He is a Shallie. That is a German Shepherd and collie mix. He is extremely smart! I teach at Rundle Elementary School in Special Education. My students are the best ever! This is an exciting year for me! Teaching my resource students is very rewarding. I get to go into their classrooms and work with them and their other teachers. Then, we go to our class for more learning! We mainly work on improving reading, writing, and math skills. All of my students are Rising Readers and are working real hard to graduate to their highest reading level. I love it when one of my students smiles ear to ear and says, “I understand now!” Teaching is my passion! I was born to teach. I always enjoy helping others. I first started in college to be a business major. I soon realized that in order to be happy and successful in life, I must teach. I have worked in many jobs but I always come back to teaching. I want to help my students become the very best they can be in life. This can be achieved by their believing in themselves to reach their full potential. My other passion is exercise! This makes me healthy. I hope to teach for a long time and eventually in other countries.

Autism Teacher: Elvin Menor
Email: [email protected]
Hi, I am Teacher Elvin from the Philippines. I have been teaching for 12 years (11 years in the regular setup and this will be my second year in the special education setting). I love reading. The first ever book that I've read was 'The Little Prince' but my all-time favorite is 'The Memoirs of an Imaginary Friend'. I also love watching movies, especially horror and marvel movies. I also love photography, hiking and other thrilling adventures. Enjoy everything. It is the most affordable thing. You can have it anytime, anywhere - is my philosophy towards anything most especially in my teaching career. "I mean, you will still do it, so why not enjoy it?" This is also the lesson that I want to impart to my students as young fellows who will someday be a part of a greater world. "Do not let your love be the handicap in teaching a child." -reworded (Annie Sullivan, The Miracle Worker).
